Facing professional hurdles and fluctuating trends of the stock markets cannot stop you from having a great time with your family. Probably, you won’t take your wife and children out on expensive tours or luxuriant meals. But you can surely make a vacation at home grand and fun. Some hours of pure indulgence will do you no harm. It won’t slacken your life. In fact, it will help you to refresh. Unwind and continue your professional life with vigor. Entertainment and amusements can be bought cheaply; it is not as if you really have to lighten your wallet in theme parks and movie theaters. Here are some really inventive solutions for budgeting your means of fun without missing out on the real fun.
    Cannot Buy Tickets? Rent Movies!
Most movie buffs will insist on enjoying the action and the histrionics on the big screen. But buying a movie ticket really pinches. Your children will demand for popcorn and fizzy drinks and you will have to roll out some more notes. The latest trend that works fine in middle class households is renting movies. Initially, movies and theatrical performances were available on video cassettes which could be rented or bought. There are currently a handful of competent rental companies that lend out movies to people at a reasonable rate. The big players are Net flix, Blockbuster and Redbox. You can select a line-up of your preferred movies and then obtain them one by one. Net flix sends you movies by physical delivery but the latter two companies offer stores, outlets and booths where your movies will land up for shipping as well as personal use. The only disadvantage is that such outlets and booths are for use only in selected cities.
In India, the situation is rife with crude video piracy. But while people still go out for movies, movie rentals are gradually making their presence felt. The popular outlets are 70MM and ClickFlix. They follow the patterns of foreign companies but still have to improve on their efficiency. They still have a long road ahead.
    Fun Loves Company
A good way of entertaining yourself and your family is bringing together your relatives while enjoying at home. You can organize parties, dinners and get-together. Doing so is cost-effective as you do not have to spend on the celebrations solely. Friends and cousins can contribute to the expenses for food and beverages. It is more fun to have relatives around while watching movies or holding feasts and parties.

Other important things to remember are that; always pick the entertainment that guarantees guiltless fun. While choosing movies for rent, choose the ones that will suit your family’s needs. It could be a comedy or a sweet story of animals and kids. Also bring out the popcorn, eatables and drinks. You can prepare a gob-smacking bucket of popcorn at home by using special packets which require only a twist in the microwave oven.
You can also plan your parties according to occasions. Another suggestion is to alternately organize indoor games and viewings of movies at the house of the neighbors and friends. Make sure you enjoy cheaply and unabashedly.
